Brahmi Vati & Sarpagandha Tablets

Two Ayurvedic tablet's called 'Brahmi Vati' & 'Sarpagandha' tablets were prescribed for me by a Ayurvedic Doctor to reduce/manage my Stress levels. 

2. Recently, based on suggestions from few of my friends, I visited Ayurvedic hospital in my town for treating High Blood Pressure & Over thinking. I explained my problem in detail to the doctor where she said my blood pressure increased due to high stress levels and less physical activity. She suggested me to take one each of the above medicines in the morning and night for a month before food and asked to involve in physical work and to do meditation after the physical activity.

3. As per her suggestion, I started using the tablets and started physical activity (walking, 45 to 60 minutes daily in the morning) along with Meditation for 15 minutes in the morning and night (before sleep). Luckily, my overthinking was reduced considerably and my blood pressure also came back to normal. I regularly monitored my blood pressure for a month. Initially for 15 days it was in high limits, later it started reducing day by day. 

4. As per the information, Brahmi Vati which is 'Buddhivardhak'  and it consists 'Shankhapushpi' & 'Vacha Yukta' which helps as a brain tonic for intellectuals. Sarpagandha Tablet helps regulate circulation, relieves anxiety and Irritation. It promotes restful sleep. 

5. Those who wants to reduce their stress levels, please contact your nearest Ayurvedic doctor and take medicine.

Why Physical Activity is Important for Healthy Life

Exercise or Physical activity is very important in every ones life in maintaining a good healthy life . Every day in the morning, at least, we should do physical activity for forty five (45) minutes to one (1) hour. Physical activity mean walking, jogging, exercise or anything where our body (muscles/joints) move and we get 'sweat'. This should be compulsorily followed by 15 minutes of 'Dayna/Meditation' or 'Yoga'.  One should keep 10000 steps as an aim to walk in a day from morning to evening.

2.    If we start our day with good physical activity, we feel the positive vibes in the entire day. Physical activity improves our overall health, controls our weight, boosts our mental health and mainly it promotes better sleep. It is known that World Health Organization is recommended at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity or 75 minutes of high intensity activity per week.

3. Finally, remember, any physical activity is always better than none. I always prefer to walk for one hour in the morning and I keep an target of 10000 steps in a day. Hope you guys, start your physical activity.

Hi Friends,

Today (24.10.2023) i.e.., the next day of 'Dasara' Festival, I started this blog My Thoughts on Dear Life and this is the first post of the blog. Earlier i.e.., before 2011, I have freelanced as a Content Writer and Search Engine Optimizer (SEO) to few websites and I also maintained my own blog. However, post 2011, as I got a full time job in other sector, I am unable to write content and justify the present job. So, I dropped the plans of continuing the blog. However, the 'Jeal' in me still exists and thus today, I planned to start it again from the Scratch.

2.    In this blog, I will try to put my thoughts, views, opinions on life on various topics in writing and in video form. Variety of content, including videos on cooking etc., will also be posted.
